William Blair Stasiuk (Blair)

March 5, 1955 – March 5, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our much-loved William Blair Stasiuk (“Blair”), who passed away on March 5, 2026.

Blair was born in Vanderhoof, BC, on March 5, 1955, to Mary Blair Stasiuk and Edward Stasiuk. He was the youngest of four siblings. Blair spent most of his childhood in Cloverdale, BC, where he formed lifelong friendships, many of whom predeceased him.

Blair is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Wendy; his brother John; and many cherished nieces and nephews: David (Chelsea and family), Joseph, Mike (Faith and family), Ted (Ineke and family), Jim (Maria), Stephen (Adell and family), Jessica (Justin), Kholton (Alyssa and family), Mason, and Jaida (Connor). He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers-in-law Brian and Ian (Tracee), as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Blair was a happy, adventurous soul with a quick, quiet wit and a smile that lit up his face. Many friends and family members were on the receiving end of his playful pranks or heard his favourite jokes told time and again. He had a deep love of adventure—whether travelling abroad, boating, or RVing—and always sought out the little details that made each trip special.

A true entrepreneur, Blair enjoyed business throughout his life and owned several successful ventures. Even in retirement, he maintained an office so he could stay connected, share coffee with friends, and lend a helping hand whenever he could.

Blair lived a full and meaningful life. He was deeply loved and respected, and he will be dearly missed.

A celebration of Blair’s life will be held on April 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Newlands Golf & Country Club, 21025 48th Avenue, Langley, BC.
